Carpet cleaning
in the GTA.

Hot water extraction by the owner, not a rotating crew. Plant-based products that are safe for kids and pets, with carpets walkable in 4โ€“6 hours.

The method

How we actually clean a carpet.

Four steps, every job, no shortcuts.

1

Inspect & pre-treat

We identify stains, fibre type and traffic lanes, then apply targeted solutions and let them dwell.

2

Deep extract

Hot water extraction at high pressure, pulls out dirt, dander, allergens and detergent residue.

3

Groom & deodorise

We rake the fibres back upright and apply a plant-based deodoriser for a clean, neutral finish.

4

Speed-dry

Air movers cut drying time to 4โ€“6 hours so you can walk on the carpet the same day.

Why it matters

A real guide to carpet cleaning.

What hot water extraction actually does to your carpet

Hot water extraction, sometimes (loosely) called steam cleaning, works in two stages. First, a hot, pre-conditioning solution is sprayed into the pile, breaking the bond between dirt and fibre. Then a high-pressure rinse and powerful vacuum pull both the dirt and the cleaning solution back out in a single pass. The result is a carpet that's actually cleaner, not one with a film of soap waiting to attract more dirt.

Most consumer carpet manufacturers, including Stainmaster, Mohawk and Shaw, specifically require hot water extraction to keep their warranties valid. Bonnet cleaning, dry compound and rotary shampooing don't reach the base of the pile, and they often void those warranties.

Why plant-based products matter for homes with pets

Conventional carpet cleaners rely on solvents and surfactants that off-gas for days after the job is done. Pets, especially cats and small dogs, spend most of their lives breathing the air six inches above your carpet. They also lick their paws.

We use plant-based, pH-neutral products that have no fragrance, no optical brighteners and no residual film. They're rated safe for use around food prep areas, which is roughly the bar you want for a kid crawling on the carpet too.

How often should carpets be cleaned?

For most Toronto households the answer is every 12โ€“18 months. Add a pet, and you're closer to every 9 months. Add allergies or asthma in the home and 6 months is a good cadence.

Vacuuming weekly handles surface debris but doesn't touch the oils, allergens and skin cells that bind to the lower 70% of the pile. That's where professional extraction earns its keep, and why many people notice a difference in air quality within a day of the job.

What we do differently from other GTA carpet cleaners

Three things, mostly. Adam runs every job personally, there's no rotating crew, no subcontractors, and no upsells the moment we walk in the door. The price you're quoted is the price you pay.

Second, we use truck-mounted equipment with significantly more vacuum power than the portable units most franchises send to your door. That means more dirt out, less moisture left behind, and a faster dry.

Third, the guarantee is real. If you're not happy with a spot or the overall result, we come back and re-treat free. If you're still not happy, you don't pay. That promise only works because we don't take on more jobs than one person can handle properly in a day.

FAQ

Carpet cleaning, answered.

How long will my carpet take to dry?
4โ€“6 hours in most homes. Truck-mounted extraction pulls 95%+ of the moisture out, so you're not waiting overnight or sleeping on a damp floor.
Will old pet stains come out?
Surface stains usually do. Old urine that has soaked through to the underpad needs an enzyme treatment, we'll tell you upfront whether it's a clean-only or a clean + sub-surface job.
Do you move the furniture?
Light items (chairs, coffee tables, small sofas) are moved at no extra charge. Heavy beds, dressers and entertainment units stay in place and we clean around them.
Is the equipment safe for wool or natural-fibre carpet?
Yes, we identify the fibre before we start and adjust water temperature, pressure and product accordingly. Wool needs cooler water and a pH-neutral solution, which is exactly what we carry.
Will the stains come back?
"Wicking" can happen with deep stains as the carpet dries. If it returns within 7 days, we come back and re-treat it free. That's part of the 100% satisfaction guarantee.
Can you do same-day service?
Often, yes, depending on the slot. Call before noon and there's a good chance we can fit you in that afternoon, especially Tuesday through Thursday.
How much does whole-house carpet cleaning cost?
We use whole-home flat pricing, you get a firm quote based on size, condition and any added stain treatments before any work starts, and the number doesn't move once we're on site.
